What does everyone do for New years now? I used to go out all dressed up and drink champagne,as a mom I am lucky if I make it to midnight in New York! I used to be able to trick my daughter into thinking she had stayed up but know she really wants to stay up till midnight.We stay in and watch movies and eat shrimp, cracked crab and artichokes,weird mix I know but it is delicasy night. Then we wait through tired eyes till the ball drops and go straight to bed covering our ears from the sound of fireworks!
One good thing about it,I don't start the New year off with a hangover any more..totally worth it!
